Sippy Cup and Cheerios!!

Ryan is officially a big boy now! At his 6 month visit last week, Ryan was cleared to start eating cheerios and to drink water from a sippy cup. He was so excited! He has been wanting to feed himself and drink from a cup. He likes to pull our cup out of our mouth or grab anything that's going to our mouth.

We also thought this child was never going to roll-over. He could do it, but he just didn't want to. At the doctor on Wednesday, I told her our dilemma. She said she wasn't very concerned but that it might slow down his crawling ability. I didn't seem to think so, since whenever he's on his belly, he just scoots to the side and "swims." Then she did some stretches with him to see how he was growing. When she put him on his belly, she said, "Yeah, he could roll over if he wanted to, he's just being stubborn!" Shocking that we have yet another stubborn child. I can't quite figure out where he got that from (haha!) On Saturday, he finally rolled over. It was very exciting. So, it was only 3 months after Zach did, but really, he has his whole life to roll over now. Why were we so worried? He sat up early. He started that at 3 1/2 - 4 months. It's hard not to compare milestones in your children though!
