Since our last entry, we have been to a Phillies Baseball Game, shot off some cool rockets, Zach got a new bike, Ryan learned that talking is the best thing ever and we have had numerous park days!
Our boys are growing so fast, we can't even keep up. Ryan is growing out of his clothes as soon as we get them. And Zach, well...he's just becoming a string bean. We had to do a weight check on him today at the doctor to make sure he's gaining an appropriate amount of weight. He went from having baby fat still in January to having his ribs show through in May. (He only had 4 ear infections in a three month period) Now he's back on track though and has even grown .3 of an inch in a month. At that rate, he'll surpass me by the time he's 6! Well, not that fast, but it just feels like all we are doing is growing in this house!
In the next few weeks, we'll be hosting a BBQ for the Sr. High Youth group of our church, and will be taking the same kids to Dorney Park Amusement Park, celebrating our 6th anniversary and then traveling to Illinois for a short visit, then back for Jamie to co-direct Vacation Bible School for 150 kiddos! Woo Hoo! (but always a great and uplifting week) We were supposed to be traveling to good ole' Davis for a wedding of one of our dear friends, but alas, with trying to fly all of us out in these prices, there would be nothing left. So, to all of our Davis Friends, we are hoping to be in the land of Jamba Juice and Pluto's (both we extremely miss) for Picnic Day 09! And we're always in the need for "Good" Mexican and Chinese! It's just not the same in Philly! (although the pretzels here are YUM!) We might eat our way through CA next year!
