Beach Day

Well, it was September 5th, but we finally made it to the shore for the day! We have had such a crazy and busy summer, that we never made it to the beach. Waiting until the start of school worked in our favor though. We went to Ocean City, NJ, a very popular family beach destination in the area. Our trip was wonderful. The shops on the boardwalk were still open, but it wasn't crowded. We were able to do as we wished. Wonderful!! We played pirate-themed mini-golf, flew our kite, played in the ocean and built sandcastles. We had such a great time, we're hoping to do a trip next year for a weekend!

Zach's 1st hole in one! His best Tiger stance!
Ryan's 1st time in the ocean! He wasn't so sure about it at the beginning, but then loved it. Maybe he thought it was a large bathtub?? We couldn't get him out of the ocean!
Flying our kite. Uncle Grant makes a great supervisor!!
Family photo at the beach!
Building sandcastles is a hard job!
