Taking our mascot to the vet!

We love to get the class mascots. I love to make a big deal about it for Zach. The mascot accompanies us everywhere we go. So, when we had to go to the vet for Lady's yearly check-up, it was only natural that Spotty the Dog go with us too.

Zach at first was afraid to let spotty get a check-up.
Once Lady had her check-up done, then he was willing.

I think he was afraid Spotty was actually going to get a shot.

The day before, Zach got his flu shot and it was tragic, of course.

I convinced him that almost everyone gets a flu shot and

that even Lady would have to get a "flu" shot at the vet.

(...I didn't feel like explaining rabies to a 4 year old!)
